A CLEAR PLACE TO BEGIN

Your first four projects

Choose a starting skill, not a grade. These are suggested routes through available packs—not a test or a requirement to finish every project. Use the pack’s readiness check, slow down or revisit as needed.

Counting and number sense

Start here if counting and comparing small groups still needs practice.

  1. Tabletop supply sorter — count and compare groups.
  2. Ten-frame supply board — see parts of ten and missing quantities.
  3. Repeating-pattern desk mat — identify and explain the repeating unit.
  4. Number-path game — connect moves with number changes.

Try one session at a time. Move on when your learner can explain the key idea with less help.

Operations and measurement

Start with equal groups; try measurement when your learner can compare lengths and follow a ruler.

  1. Array-grid desk organizer — equal rows, multiplication and spare capacity.
  2. Measuring bookmarks — ruler units, halves and quarters.
  3. Three-tray pencil station — repeated widths and borders.
  4. Cardboard picture frame — equal margins and inside/outside dimensions.

Try one session at a time. Move on when your learner can explain the key idea with less help.

Proportion and geometry

Useful when equal groups and equal parts are familiar.

  1. Two-color ratio design tiles — equivalent ratios and whole-number batches.
  2. Catch-all tray — length, area and volume.
  3. Equal-space compartment box — divide usable space and allow for thickness.
  4. Scale garden model — connect model lengths and real dimensions.

Try one session at a time. Move on when your learner can explain the key idea with less help.

Algebra and planning

Use when substitution and basic measurement are comfortable; each pack has readiness guidance.

  1. Desktop layout — solve an equal-gap constraint.
  2. Supply-plan comparison board — compare functions and budget limits.
  3. Packaging comparison — evaluate designs against constraints.
  4. Workshop plan and budget — combine scale, quantities and costs.

Try one session at a time. Move on when your learner can explain the key idea with less help.
